Dr. Maggie Xing believes vision touches nearly every part of a patient’s daily life, from the activities they enjoy to the time they spend with family. She joins Kugler Vision as a refractive surgeon after completing her ophthalmology residency at Washington University in St. Louis, where she also earned her medical degree and a master’s degree in population health sciences. She studied biology at Duke University, graduating summa cum laude and earning membership in Phi Beta Kappa.
One of the most rewarding parts of Dr. Xing’s work is watching a patient see clearly for the first time after surgery, knowing it will improve how they golf, travel, or spend time with the people they love. She also values the health benefits that come with better vision, including a lower risk of falls and injuries and support for mental well-being.
Dr. Xing chose Kugler Vision for its focus on personalized, patient-first care and its use of advanced technology to match each patient with the right treatment. She credits the practice’s collaborative, kind team as a big part of why she’s glad to be here.
