Job Description – Is This You?

Kugler Vision is looking for a top-tier Marketer to fill a Marketing Assistant and social media guru position. 

The Marketing Assistant will manage all social profiles and pages for Kugler Vision according to brand standard guidelines. Must be able to think strategically and see how social media and content creation fits into the business marketing strategy with the intent of building long-lasting relationships with our patients and preserving the integrity of our brand. The ideal candidate should be able to develop social media plans, execute the plans, measure the efficacy and impact of the plans, and suggest action items to increase impact, while collaborating effectively within a team. 

The Marketing Assistant is also a key member of the team, responsible for creating dynamic and engaging content. Be prepared to write! Turning out creative and enlightening blogs and newsletters are a vital part of this role.

Analytical skills are a must, as you will be intimately involved in market research and development for new initiatives. Web experience and a working knowledge of SEM and/or SEO is a plus, but not a deal breaker– if you’re a good fit for our company culture, we will train.

Responsibilities:

  • Run all Kugler Vision social media platforms:
    • Write and source content for all social media profile pages.
    • Identify and execute tactics that will increase our social media presence 
    • Find new users to follow/friend/like Kugler Vision.
    • Reply to comments and messages.
    • Track leads resulting from social media interactions.
  • Analytic and Research Skills
    • Track site performance
    • Monitor efficacy of social content and use data to make informed choices about content development
    • Gather information about target market needs and collaborate with the team to strategize the best channels and messages in reaching them
    • Research and record ideas across the industry through analysis of competitor sites and social media
  • Patient Interaction Marketing Initiatives
    • Helping to share patient stories via documenting their experience
    • Conducting interviews and helping in planning and production for video testimonials and patient series
  • Content creation
    • Blogging
    • Drafting monthly newsletter

Ophthalmic Technician

Reports To: Clinical Manager

Job Description: The Ophthalmic Technician, or Patient Concierge, is the first point of contact for patients and is an integral part of our practice. You are the face of the organization and a cheerful and professional demeanor is implicit. As a Kugler Vision technician, you generally see the patient before the ophthalmologist or optometrist and are responsible for preparing the patient for the exam by collecting background information and provisioning diagnostic tests and measurements.

Responsibilities: 

  • Greet patients, answer the phones, and schedule appointments.
  • Gather medical records and patient information.
  • Provide exemplary patient service.
  • Perform ocular tests and measurements.
  • Maintain and clean ophthalmic instruments and equipment.
  • Assist the ophthalmologist and optometrist in basic procedures.
