The Refractive Surgery Alliance (RSA) is a unique group in the world of ophthalmology. This professional organization aims to create an alliance of highly qualified, ethical refractive surgeons to help promote the life changing benefits of refractive surgery through education, research, management, and patient care.

Lance Kugler, MD was one of the 5 original founders of the RSA, and served as the first President of the organization. He remains on the RSA executive board and is joined by other physicians who have a special interest in refractive surgery, are leaders in their field, and were selected and approved.

The goal of the Refractive Surgery Alliance is to bring together the best refractive surgeons. This unified group works to be readily identifiable by the public to provide education and awareness to people just like you. The RSA wants to decrease myths and misinformation about refractive surgery and increase knowledge about the many benefits of vision correction.
