Pets in Specs Photo Contest Highlights
Published by on April 21, 2015
Kugler Vision in Omaha launched a new Facebook photo contest that challenged Pet Owners to snap a shot of their furry friends in their old glasses! Pets in Specs was a month long competition on the Kugler Vision Facebook page. Participants were invited to submit a picture of their pets in glasses for a chance to win a $150 gift assortment from Wag–groomer, doggie day care, and all natural supply retailer.
After all the submissions were in, Wag and the Nebraska Humane Society employees came to Kugler Vision’s office to cast their votes and narrow the field to three finalists. Our 2 special visitors from the Nebraska Humane Society were Pam and her dog Baxter.
The three finalist photos were then posted to our Facebook page for the public to vote over a week’s time. The picture that had the most likes by noon on April 14th was the winner! At noon sharp the lucky winner was Titus, with 192 likes!
Ashley S. stopped by with Titus to pick up her prize. Titus was one excited pup! He knew that he won some very special treats! Some of the prize winnings included treats, power bones, balls, Husker leash, Justin Beaver chew toy and a Scrub n’Fluff gift card to Wag, which includes shampoo, nail trim, ear cleaning, and teeth cleaning. Henry, owned by Lauren H., was in a close second with 187 likes. Rigby, owned by Koshya W., was third place with 62 likes. Thank you everyone who participated in our Pets in Specs photo competition by submitting a picture of your pet in specs or by voting! We enjoyed seeing all of the fun pictures that were submitted. If you would like to see other photo submissions, visit our page to see them in our Pets in Specs album.
Congratulations again to our winners Titus and his owner Ashley S., winners of a $150 gift assortment from Wag! Keep an eye out for more interactive Facebook contests! We love to engage and reward our Facebook friends. Who knows, maybe you could be the lucky winner next time!
Say Goodbye to the Dog Days of Glasses and Contacts
Kugler Vision loves dogs and cats. They are so adorable, and we recognize that they are very near and dear to an owner’s heart. We also recognize the hassles of having glasses and contact lenses, especially as a pet owner. For pet owners with allergies, it can be especially difficult. Contact lenses trap allergens. Another hassle of glasses is when you come in from walking your dog and your lenses immediately fogging up. Never mind all the times that Fido jumps up to give you a kiss and smudges your glasses!
LASIK may be Right up Your Alley
LASIK from Kugler Vision can give you a life without the barriers of glasses and contacts. When you are playing with your dog or cat, you will not have to worry anymore about your eyes getting dry, itchy, and irritated from lenses. Get started on your life without barriers! Call us at 402.558.2211, and we will answer all your questions.
